I have shopped here for over 15yrs, but not any longer. While I was doing my shopping I was issued with a $65 ticket for taking over an hour. After much hassle - phone calls, emails and photo proof of my new world transaction at that time, the company has waived the fee. Things have gone downhill in the last couple of months, new owner? half the staff are gone and now they are always under staffed and really busy at the checkout, prices have gone up and shelves are often out of stock. What a shame!!!

Nice little supermarket with all the things you need for daily life. Great pricing on fresh meat products. Love to shop here. Parking is convenient at first floor. Employees are very nice and very helpful... just the Manager or whatever her position is, is watching you with Hawks eyes if youβ€˜re not taking something without paying... thats a bit annoying but understandable if you know the location in Newtown... Update 1/4/18: since I did give them a 4 star review their meat prices went up by at least 50% on the meat from 12.99 on chicken breast to $21.99 etc and 0.30-0.50 cents on all other groceries... greedy greedy greedy!!! If I can’t afford to buy meat anymore I just go Vegetarian... not a problem!!!

Doesn't accept AMEX. They say they " haven't got it set up. Hmm. I also wish they had a better craft beer selection. Other than that it's an adequate supermarket. The staff are the best - always friendly, and it's never super busy so it's not stressful.

Told the staff there yesterday that the frozen chicken was over-stacked above the limit of the freezer, so it was defrosting. Today they still hadn't fixed the problem. They will start to stink soon, and hopefully no customers buy any! New management obviously don't know what they are doing. Many shelves going unstocked too. Buy what you can while it's still there. But don't buy the chicken.

One of my favourite supermarkets. Friendly staff. Specials can be great value. Market weekend vege specials can be good value too.
