  Busy public thoroughfare domain for freedom camping but lovely spot to be by the sea. Can be windy, so if at all possible perhaps park in-between other campervans, unless of course, you enjoy sleeping to the wind rocking your campervan. Make sure that you do not leave your camper unlocked at night. I had no issues but witnessed a minor of no consequent incident there where the police were involved .

  This place is great, if you’re going down south and want to have a stop just before Wellington. Heaps of parking and toilet facilities. The toilets are not very clean and the cabin cannot be locked (only one for male). But the view makes it all up. Park right next to the river mouth to enjoy a great scenery.
