  Having happily visited many OPORTO stores in Auckland I was unpleasantly surprised at the poor standards I discovered at the Centreplace Mall. I was served by a young girl (possibly high school age or younger) She was not wearing a uniform or hat which not only made it difficult to associate her with the business chain, but a hat would have helped with her long, loose and unkempt hair as would covered toed shoes (Jandals were being worn to prepare and serve food). For a comparison I looked around at other food places in the mall - all the staff wore smart uniforms, hats, long trousers and covered shoes and looked and acted professionally. More disappointment followed as my Bondi "box" was everything crammed into a bursting paper bag, not a box as advertised, and when I asked for a bag to carry my food as I was walking a long distance I was told by the barefoot child that they don't give bags for take aways. My burger was the soggiest most disgusting burger I've ever seen I don't even want to eat it. Slimy brown lettuce and ..is that chicken? Hard to tell if that is even a chicken breast/ patty? don't know. I won't be eating it. For $16 as well you should be ashamed! Oporto what has happened?? I hope management is looking into the hygiene and service standards here? Good luck

  The worst chicken burger I've ever had in my life. Two bites and in the bin. Bun was falling apart, not even toasted. Upon opening it up the lettuce was clearly old, brown around the edges and the chicken breast appeared to be breaded but the breading was soggy and falling off the chicken. No flavour and gross mouth feel.

  I love oportos, and Hamilton is by far the best oportos we have ever had. Fresh hot chips and yummy chilli Chicken Burger
