The stunningly diverse displays and mediums continually reflect and celebrate the breadth n depth of the uniqueness of New Zealands creative communities and as importantly the atmosphere created by the diverse people who live and work in Porirua. ::Pataka is a special place, expect the unexpected in art exhibitions! there is also an excellent art shop, library, and cafe, that looks out onto a tranquil Japanese garden, Pataka strength perhaps is in its strong sense of community, school children being introduced to art and culture of Aotearoa for their first time. Go check it out!
