::Really nice family ran cafe on the way up the peninsula. We ordered a chai latter and cappuccino. Both were delicious. Also grabbed the French toast which was very filling and good value for money. There is a cute bird who comes into the store to hang out. Very homely place and would recommend.

::Compliments to the chef who did an amazing job with our orders (pretty much customized it to our liking) and coffee was also very good. We were pleasantly surprised on the low prices considering the high quality (which can be an impossibility in Auckland sometimes). Please make sure you stop here if you're in Dunedin :)

::After visually checking out the few eating places in Portobello we chose Penguin Cafe and were very happy we did. It has a nice atmosphere (inside and out), very pleasant staff, and the breakfast dishes we chose were every bit what a full-on breakfast should be. The other food we saw on tables and on display looked terrific too. Don't think you can go wrong here for daytime food (not open in the evening)
