  I find myself always coming straight to Platypus Queensgate whenever I'm looking for a pair of kicks, for one simple reason. Customer service. The crew at Platypus consistently delivers an attentive and engaging experience any time I'm in store, my friends and family feel the same too. Even when they don't have exactly what I'm looking for, their salesmanship truly shines through as they begin finding alternatives to what I'm seeking. Some stand out figures within Platypus that have helped me in ways beyond what any regular salesman would are Andy, Chip, Dino, Rachel and recently Brie. Although I was not served by Brie myself, I did witness her exude an excellent experience to another young man in store at the time. From what I had gathered he was after quite a few pairs of shoes for Christmas and Brie was working hard to find sizes and offer alternatives if they were out of stock. In the end he'd walked away with over 7 pairs of shoes and seemed quite stoked yet familiar with this above and beyond type of customer service. The crew at Platypus Queensgate is one to behold, although there's always new faces popping up every month or so, it is obvious that whoever the manager is, they're consistently ensuring the staff are trained to their best of their abilities. I'd recommend these people any day over any other shoe store. Great store and a greater crew!

  I went to Platapus Shoes Lower Hutt & got served by Rachel who is EXTREMELY GR8 @ customer service, didn't have the size shoes I wanted but got me to try on another similar & ordered them for me to come to my house, That's gr8 service as I had been to another shoe shop before & they obviously didn't want the business Thanks so much Rachel Would recommend u any time, ordered on Saturday the 27th June & delivered to my house on the 1st July WOW FANTASTIC Would recommend this store & Rachel

  Some of the most helpful and patient staff. Had some issues with an online app on my phone. Three different people helped me until the problem was solved and I finally had all of my shopping for Christmas. Great range of shoes and sizes. Were offering to have another of their stores source certain shoes as well. This was also on Christmas eve. They were calm, patient, swift and dependable. Awesome and grateful shopping experience!

  My son and I went in there to buy a pair for him and I. There were 4 people working there that day and we were the only ones in store and not one of them offered us any service. The fat tattooed guy was too busy telling lame jokes to his co-workers to come help us. The only service we got was when we asked the blonde girl with dreads if they had a certain size in stock, she was nice enough. There range isn't that great either. We ended up going to rebel sports to get our shoes.
