  Everyone likes fish n chips beside the sea side and nestled amongst the shops short walk from beach is a family owned iconic fish and chippy shop. The family are very courteous and welcoming and manage a short chat between the flurry of orders. You are spoilt for choice with the menu and they have gluten free and everything is cooked in rice bran oil. Unfortunately the day I went the fish appeared to have been frozen and looked like it had been sat on.So it was not the best.Hoping it is a one off.

  We live in the Hutt Valley and have been travelling to Plimmerton for Fish & chips every summer for almost 30 years. Our children are now in their 30’s and remember dinner by the sea. Swimming and watching the sun go down. The best fish & chips in Wellington and one of the nicest places to watch the sun go down!! Off now for our Boxing Day dinner!!

  BEST fish and chips I’ve ever tasted! Beautiful white melt in your mouth fish. This is the first piece of fish from a takeaway shop I have successfully loved in “years”, I am sold!! Highly recommend!

  Well, this was my fav f'n'c place in 2011 - so this 5 star rating is for 2011 😄
