  I highly recommend Port Nicholson Medical. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The location is great and there is a pharmacy close by which is convenient to pick up my prescriptions.

  OMG how things change. For many years, Lorraine was the best GP inWellington and everyone went to her. But over the ;last 5 years she has totally lost he plot. The hooro stories I hear are sooo bad. Endless wrong diagnoses, obsession with routine tests like mammograms when you present with a different urgent problem, really wrong things entered on files...RUN. I now don't know anyone who still goes to her. Jan Barret is good but often seems rundown and overwhelmed. Trish just does what Lorraine says.A number of people have called the medical council about her, but I don't think anyone has gone through with a complaint.

  I have been to Port Nicholson several times for myself and my children in the last year. I find the staff and doctors warmly professional. The care they provided has always been excellent and detailed. I pay out of pocket as an ex pat working here but have found the rates much less comparable to doctors of the same caliber in the States. I highly recommended Port Nicholson, in particular, Dr. Trish Reeves who is simply wonderful!
