  Our powered campsite (no 25) was smelly. Owner not too informative, told us to park anywhere as long as its empty

  I stayed there for 2 nights, the bathroom during that time was clean. The kitchen was ok clean, you can't find any kitchen equipment in there though (no pans, plates etc.)There is free and really fast wifi in the lounge area. It's just a 15 min walk to town. After all; if you stay there just for a couple of days and you bring your own kitchen equipment it's absolutly ok.

  Mostly rock, very little grass, Motorhome sites were mostly level but could be made better with little effort and money. Bathroom facilities were not ideal probably because so many backpackers on a budget just use it and abuse it. Not much cheaper than 2 other parks down the road which are also a lot closer to town, (important if your only transport your legs or the Motorhome your staying in). Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would (and did for our last night) spend a little more to be closer to town in nicer surroundings.

  Worst paid camper site, I have stayed in New Zealand. Toilets weren’t great. The parking spots weren’t comfortable. Roads were unsurfaced in the entrance. Not worth the money. Expensive!!!! Better go to free motor camp.
