This shop is the most one of the most expensive shops I ever visited, they have little to offer and do not support any costumer that is looking for video equipment, the charged double of whats online and the knowledge of cameras are very little. I am a local in Queenstown and its the last place I will go to if I am looking for gear, this shop is design to deal with tourists and that alone is a shame considering is one of the few camera shops in queenstown.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We’ve been to this store 4 times and 3 of those times we were served by the middle aged Liam Gallagher when he had long hair looking guy. Honestly the rudest man we’ve ever encountered. The first time we gave him the benefit of a doubt because everyone has a bad day, but this guy is consistently patronising, rude and completely uninterested. Seriously, just take a look at all the reviews left here. If he just works there, sack him because he’s obviously ruining the business. And if he’s the manager or owner, maybe consider that you are obviously extremely unhappy with your job situation and go elsewhere. We did have a nice experience the one time Liam Gallagher wasn’t there with the younger chap and he was really really lovely. Shame we don’t want to go back and risk bumping into Liam.

I can understand a popular tourist destination having a mark up of around $100 above average prices, but the mark up here on the camera lens’ at this place was an average of $800-$1000 more than what you would pay online for a $1000 lens!, that’s literally double the price! Not to mention the staff didn’t want to leave the seat behind the counter and were absolutely non negotiable with any prices, locals warned us the place was horrible but what is one supposed to do in a camera emergency like we had? This place takes advantage of people in desperate holiday situations .... take a drive down the road to Harvey Norman Queenstown they are much cheaper

What a great experience at this store today. Helpful advice and Andrew even saved us a significant amount of money with his suggestion for our NCEA photography student. This is the kind of advice you won't receive online and we are lucky to have this store in our community. Thanks Andrew!

I don't think it's fair to judge this store by the price. The most important thing of a good camera store should be whether the owner is professional enough to solve customers' problem. When it depends on this viewpoint, I think this store is really worth recommended. My DSLR(D90) was broken at my first day in Queenstown. I urgently needed a well-functioned camera to take photos of the beautiful landscape. So I came here and asked for some advice. The store owner could push me to buy a new one, a much more expensive one; but he didn't. In stead, he recommended me a suitable model for newbie like me, even though I considered to upgrade to highest level model directly, he said "No need" to me. Many thanks for his good advice, due to him, I could keep the stunning site scene in my photos. Moreover, after coming back to Taiwan, I found that the price of my new camera is much cheaper than Taiwan's sales and it even equals to Japan's. Trust me, this store is definitely a good store for everyone.
