  Where do I start with this one.... I have stayed in some fabulous campsites and holiday parks, this sadly was not one of them... Firstly the staff are horribly rude, in particular the staff on duty on the morning of 22/02/18. Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. It’s horribly overpriced, $55 per night for an unpowered tent site. Every kiwi I’ve spoken to has been horrified! Sadly, they are just taking advantage of the bed shortage in Queenstown. The bathrooms were horrific and hosed down once a day leaving everything soaking. They close the kitchen at 1.30, to my mind that’s still lunchtime. Absolute jokers.

  Great position in middle of town. We were close to gondola and easy to get taxis if you needed transport. Clean, tidy facilities suited this family perfectly when out most of the days at wedding or sightseeing. Highly recommend this to families and visitors. cheers

  We had been traveling around NZ with holiday park vouchers and this was the only place which charged a 24$ a night surcharge, on top of the already 50$ we had paid for the voucher. Nearly 75$ a night for a mediocre powered site is incredibly steep. Not sure if id also call it "lake view" perhaps in one corner if you're on your tippy toes potentially. The bathrooms were the worst we experienced in the south island, they had a very "prison vibe" which if you visit in "peak season" be prepared to pay to use the showers as they have a coin slot for operation (which luckily wasn't in use for our off peak stay). We had such great experiences with other holiday parks across the region so this was very disappointing. Only reason it got 2 stars was because it's a quick walk into the town center.

  I would like to start by saying the location for this holiday park is perfect! We left our car parked up for the duration of our stay as town is less than 5 minutes walk. BUT if you are looking at staying here beware the boundary fence that houses the Harcourt's properties on the right hand side to the park! They caused a massive headache for my partner and I during our stay.. The staff are very friendly but as this wasn't apart of their holiday park they told me there was nothing they could do but give me a phone number to call if the houses are disruptive again... The bathrooms could do with a detailed clean of the air vents, and the kitchen air conditioning system are growing something in them that will eventually walk away with their own personalities :/

  The location of the holiday park is spot on! We easily walked down to the shops and the lake, perfect. The security was great over New Year's Eve, which I was grateful for with having two kids in tow on that rowdy night. Good job security lady! The kitchen , bathrooms and playground areas were great too. However, the camping spot was cramped, not enough space to spread out there, but our neighbours were very nice and we had fun chatting about our excursions. The ground is hard as a rock, bring a hammer!! haha. Cheers guys, we had a blast!
