Pharmacist was very patient in explaining the different options of medication my sick friend could take.

Just went in here and had the best service, especially compared to the experience I had at the pharmacy in town by the waterfront yesterday. Yesterday they didn’t recognise I had eczema, gave me a cream not effective enough and were also a bit snooty. Today at Queenstown Pharmacy she recognised it straight away, explained that in this area at this time of year it’s quite common and gave me all the correct things to care for it and also just really put my mind at rest as I’ve never experienced this kind of eczema before. Couldn’t ask for more. I think her name was Lydia, but I have a terrible memory. Thanks!

Today I Required emergency supply of metformin (6 tablets), as from overseas and ran out and had 2 more days in Queenstown. I brought in my current blister of medication so this could be verified. The Young blonde pharmacist (presume newly registered with experience level displayed) was very short and totally unhelpful. Did not enquire about my diabetes or even dosing requirements or issue of preventing a hyperglycaemia event from occurring) She showed absolutely for patient centreded care, and her only concern was he pharmacy license ( her words) Very poor display of what pharmacist really really should be, and that is displaying empathy and patient centred care, not purely about money and process.
