  Review is for restaurant only. Food was pretty good, service was shocking. Yum Cha is from 10.45 - 2.30, however when we got there at 1pm we were sat beside a table of extremely noisy diners and could not even have a conversation amongst ourselves, the restaurant at the other end was empty however we were not able to sit there. There was hardly any food, and when I asked if more food was coming, I was told I had to order it and was given a grubby laminated menu and a pen. Half of what we wanted had sold out, and when we ordered a few things it took over 20mins for it to arrive. We won’t be back.

  I am reviewing just the restaurant, it was quite good chinese food, my picky eater daughter says it was yummy noodles. We will comeback again.

  Been at this Yumcha many times and everytime we were disappointed with the appalling service. Decided to finally write a review based on our average experience. Wait time for food to be served is very long. Food options are okay but the gap between one dimsum and next one is about 15 to 20 mins. The waiters need to understand the Yum Cha culture and be more polite and not run around with the food like headless chickens. You will need to raise your hand and shout out loud to get some food over here.

  The Yum Cha here is excellent. Stayed one night. Room was clean and tidy. Relatively cheap. Minute's walk to Queensgate mall where bus stop to Wellington CBD is. Good experience overall.

  Yum cha food here is amazing. Seems to be the chef from Andrews restaurant. But the service is pretty much always average to very poor. The managers as others have said seem to have an attitude problem.
