The staff are really friendly and laid back, I did both the kayaking and the white water rafting tours with these guys and both were loads of fun. It's a bit pricey, but that's to be expected with tourist destinations. They provide all the equipment you need (besides towels and swimmers) and ensure you're completely prepared for your trip. The kayaking was a great trip, it took a fair amount of time which was great, whereas the white water rafting seemed to fly a lot quicker. I would definitely recommend both trips, and don't be afraid to do the grade 5 rafting, it's not as scary as you think as these guys really know what they're doing and it's a very controlled environment.

Amazing experience! Josh and Adam were both professional and hilarious. Definitely worth rafting with these guys! Recommend the Rangitaiki for the view and the rapids.

Went with River Rats to the Kaituna river. They are very experienced and funny, they made sure we were safe and made the whole trip a pleasant experience. The complementary pickup/drop off from my hotel was really handy. They also took great photographs along the way.

I mean... what can I say? The team running this place is super experienced, lovely and with a great sense of humor. They took such good care of us. And the river itself and the journey from beginning to end was so beautiful and fun! On top of all that everybody had so much love and respect for Mother Nature. Their first two priorities were our safety and taking care of our beautiful planet. I really couldn't recommend this place more! Look no further if you want the experience of a lifetime. And the 7 meter (21 foot) waterfall drop? A-Ma-Zing!!!!!
