We stayed in the house as there was a large group of us. The house was perfect for our group. The living area waa large and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was always plenty of towels and blankets. The motel was in a fantastic location, we walked to the supermarket and into town. The only negative we found was the house was not the cleanest

Great hotel. Hot tub in the unit was very nice. Lovely owners/managers. Would definitely stay again

The rooms are cute with retro decore. There was a hot tub and a kitchen which was very nice. The rooms got very warm during the day, but you can open the windows at night to cool down. The location was great and in the middle of a lot of attractions.

Pros: Well located, within 5 min drive from town centre. Shopping centers across the road. Nice playground too Room was clean, enough towels. Cons: bed was a bit too soft to my mind.

I've had a great stay here -- while the room may have been a little small and it's a little annoying to get a room on the second floor if you've got tons of luggage, it's quite worth it considering what I paid for it. The room feels pretty clean, there's a stovetop and stuff, and it's situated the town center. (Although Rotorua isn't that big in the first place, I guess.) One thing you might want to be aware of if you're coming to Rotorua in general is that the place has a bit of a sulfur smell -- thankfully, the room doesn't smell of it (they put fragrances in the bathroom to mask the smell too), so as long as you've got your windows closed (or your curtains drawn, with your windows open) it'll be alright.
