  Spent a night over the weekend with my wife after we were part of a huge public event we ran. The room was nice clean and modern and was nice to relax in the bar downstairs with its amazing bar staff. Just a nice modern friendly atmosphere. After a long day it was exactly what we needed to wind down

  I traveled to the Rydges Wellington for only one night. They allowed both an early check in and a late check out as well as offering a capped taxi fare back to the airport. Travelling with children is never easy so the extra time took away a lot of the urgency from my stay and allowed me more time to enjoy the facilities of the Hotel. The dinner my family had was delicious and the waiting staff were perfect - there when you needed them but not when you don't.

  Planned a special weekend to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday. Have stayed here for work, but it would seem if you are staying here personally, the service is not the same. Our room did not get made up after the first night, could not ring and tell reception because the phone in the room did not work. Went to reception and asked for our room To be made up. But alas 1.5 hours later the room was still the same. May have been a 4/5 hotel in its day, but I would say it's only a 2 at the moment. For $530 for 2 nights expect the room to be serviced. Won't be back for work or pleasure!

  We stayed here a few months ago, love it. The breakfast is divine! The rooms are pretty comfy and the location can't be beat. It's so close to everything there is to see in Wellington. Will definitely stay here again when I 'm back in the area.

  Excellent! Stayed for one night and this place was great. Good size rooms, comfy beds good size bathrooms. Breakfast was also excellent - very good selection and good quality food constantly being topped up. Well located so within walking distance of all the mains areas. Lots of restaurants and bars all within 15 minutes walk.
