  We stayed at the family room, one bed room suite, on ground floor. One bedroom with two singles, and one super king in the lounge. Suite is spacious and very clean. Lounge faces the ocean. One enjoys sunrise every morning. Across the road is the junior bike park. Very convenient for young kids. Will return in future.

  Lovely motel in a beautiful location. After a long drive from Waitomo Caves, my fiancee and I were thrilled at the views and the spa bath. Very well presented in all regards.

  Awesome place. Huge bed. Huge spa. Everything you need. Ocean views. The bones of the motel are old (no lift) but the people running it have updated the furnishings. Close to city centre. Would happily return.

  Marvelous educational fun for people of all ages. Aquatic species range from gold fish, piranha, sharks, sea turtles etc. All tanks are really big with magnified glass fronts so you see the smallest creatures to the fine details of the larger ones. The adjoining cafe has a good selection of food and drinks and the souvenir shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. A good time for all the family.

  Right by the marine, spa bath after a long day in the room, discrete seating and bed area, large bed, shower room as well, well equipped kitchen. Helpful staff, arrived early for scenic city tour but we're allowed to use the car park before room was ready. Shame it was only one night. There are rooms facing the marina but we did not miss this as it was cloudy day. Great find
