  The storage units are a great price for the size. Unfortunately despite having a lovely on site staff member, Alicia the site manager has influenced this rating. There is a professional way to deal with tricky situations and there is the way she has handled things. When people are respectful, understanding and kind to you, being rude in return does not look good as a worker or as a human in general. Very glad to have moved everything out of this storage unit to a new company only to hear, this is nothing new when it comes to Alicia. Hoping 2019 is good to her so that she can be a happy person to be around and maybe she will be a little more cautious of her actions towards others. EDIT: Response: We understand that there are policies and a protocol in place to protect the privacy of all parties involved. 1. We had flown from Australia to sort this family members belongings out. Following the second visit once we were informed we needed authorization to enter the unit, we spoke to the company handling the belongings before it ticked over to us. They then advised us we were authorized in writing and verbally by their company to access the storage unit and we were once again denied entry. This ended with the company having to fly down and meet us at Southland Storage to sort things out. 2. The site manager breached confidentiality by telling us information we were not aware of and also not meant to know. 3. Alicia was very rude to deal with which was the problem. Not the company policy.

  Best to ring if you need storage as the sites doesnt always have a person working.
