  The Space Place is a very interesting place to go! The video theater is amazing and gives you a great experience. I recommend a visit to this place every now and then, you'll be fascinated.

  I can't fault anything about Space Place. I went to the Dark Matter show and absolutely loved it! The man at the front desk was very friendly and explained all the different shows to me and the lady who ran the movie and talked about all the constellations was also great! I'll definitely be back as it was the best part of my holiday in Welly.

  The observatory is located on the top of Wellington Botanic garden and 2 minutes walk from Cable car station. Observatory offers a entertaining package to people from all age. There is entry ticket but it is worth the money. A must try once in life time. The movie on space and big bang theory is fascinating.

  I loved it, small place though. There is a huge telescope, but they won't allow to use it all time may be reserved for night sky. There is a small theatre where they will play different movies during different days. Some museum kind of stuff like real moon rocks etc. Overall it's a nice experience as it's part of cable car botanical garden.. so it can be covered as part of any 1 day tour. Just make sure you check timings online before you plan.
