  Good food. Intimate dinner or watch a sports event. Restaurant sit down, take out on request, bar seating indoor and outdoor. Festive atmosphere. Bar facilities. Plenty of big screens so you will always have a good view of your sporting event. Central to town. Easy to find parking. Nice wooden decor.

  Meal was really nice but we were led to believe we were entitled to a free desert. The young man catering to us explained that you would need to have your meal and be ready or have ordered your desert before 6. We thought this was a change of policy so it soured the evening a little.

  Had a great lunch here the other day. The 2nd time.. And both occasions I was hugely impressed. Staff great - personable and efficient. The meals both times were clearly prepared with pride. The ceviche was as good as I've ever had. And I make it, having lived in the islands. The Ale House is more than a 'swill palace'. Nice work.

  Went past 8pm and unfortunately was told the kitchen is closed. They have a very limited menu after 8pm. We ordered fish and chips. Portions are huge and price reasonable but it didnt taste so good. Place looks good, I hope the other food is better.
