  Poor staff knowledge of products but still willing to help but after looking for 20 minutes and asking 4 other staff members I was told the person to ask wasn't there that day. The general lay out is very poor and they have tried to fit in too much just claustrophobic in general. Will not go back nor recommend

  Very poor customer service. We have placed our order 3 weeks ago. Called the first time after the first week. A girl was saying going through dispatch and I would receive a call within the day or next day. No call has been received since. I have been to the store the second weekend on Sunday. Staff was using a obvious CHEAP excuse saying the order had been give to the customer with the same order. COME ON! You have already said there are two orders. One has been completed. Wouldn’t be so obvious that the second order is still waiting to be completed? Manager on site came in and said he would do a investigation. No apology was received. I have received a call few hours later saying the order will be sent and it will arrive after one week. THIS MUST BE A JOKE. Terrible service and management.

  I love the new shop. I was a regular customer at the Porirua branch before it's closure and was sad to see it go. But the new shop is bigger, so isn't as messy. Very friendly and helpful staff as well,I'm impressed

  Very poor service. 3 staff at entrance area and not one acknowledged our arrival, we had to ask for service. The lady that served us not once smiled. On our way out 5 staff including the manager were around the exit and still no acknowledgement of customers... Come on Spotlight you can do better than this, its customer service 101 basic greeting not rocket science.

  I haven't really much to say about Spotlight Porirua as they are closing down and only had a few bits and pieces left to sell however I did manage to get a few bargains. From my experience of this store the staff have always been helpful and tended to go out of their way to assist with any enquiries. Being keen on doing all sorts of craft Spotlight has been a great store to visit when I am in Porirua but can be quite expensive as well. I usually wait for sales then go. Their bedding sheets etc are rather expensive but good quality. Spotlight are moving to Paraparaumu which is great cause that's where I live. I will be able to visit the store often.
