  This hotel is very posh. The rooms are very well appointed. The Hotel staff is beyond welcoming and helpful. David the concierge and Brice the valet. Made our stay fantastic. I could not have been more pleased. The breakfast buffet offered so many good dishes. The hotel restaurant was a true treat. I recommend the scotch steak or lamb shank! This place was truly 5 stars.

  Exactly what you would expect for the price. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. One couldn't ask for more. It's not a cheap hotel but in Auckland cheap = bad experience. The Stamford is in the heart of the CBD, and traffic willing 30-40 minutes from the airport. We will be repeat customers.

  I had a wonderful experience for the three nights that I stayed at the Stamford Plaza. The attention to detail was readily apparent everywhere in the hotel. The pool, hot tub and sauna were relaxing and they are on the tenth floor so the views were superb. The hotel is in a great location where you can take a short walk to get food, go shopping, or to ride the ferry to one of the nearby islands. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Auckland.

  Really nice central hotel with smart, modern rooms. This was my second stay and I got an amazing room in the "bow" which was a triangle with two walls fully covered in windows. Swimming pool and gym on the top floor are very nice and were quiet. Just missing a good view due to it's location it doesn't overlook the harbour. Get the SkyBus from the airport it stops just round the corner and is much cheaper than a taxi. Wide range on offer at breakfast.

  Great hotel with good facilities. The staff are very polite and professional. The breakfasts are excellent and there is a lot to choose from. The rooms are large and very comfortable especially since they have very good air conditioning and good, hot showers. It’s always great to find a place with good showers on a long trip. The only downside to the facilities is that the swimming pool is very small and the gym too. The location is great though as is only a few minutes from the coast, ferry terminal and bars and restaurants. Though Auckland is very small it’s a very good spot. I’d stay again.
