I thoroughly enjoyed the way he was able to sketch out and refine my ideas for an engagement ring - helping me to understand aspects of the jewellery manufacture process and different metal and stone options. Steve provides a very personal service keeping you informed of the creation progress along the way and it’s always enjoyable to walk into his shop to see him engaged in his craft with the aroma of fresh coffee filling the creative space!   I was totally blown away with the designs Steve has. I asked for something a little unique and he took the time to explain the differences in the metals, colours and overall designs. Living in Australia I thought might be a challenge with communication but Steve made it all seemless with regular updates. A true gentleman and craftsman. The quality of the final piece is absolutely exceptional and I would highly recommend his work to all. Chris

  Not only is Steve Haywood a Master Jeweller he also an artist who puts his heart and soul into his work. This is reflected in the unique character peace’s he crafts. I have brought several rings from Steve and receive so many complementary comments on the beauty and uniqueness of them.

  Steve Haywood Master Jeweller often works late not only so he can be there for his customers, but also because he's dedicated to the craft. Steve clearly values putting in those extra hours to make his jewellery stand out. I go to weekly business community meetings where he contributes his time to help other businesses network, and he adds a kaupapa Maori touch, showing how dedicated he is to Northland. Highly recommended.
