  Don't believe them! Went here after being told the maximum price I would pay is $165... Not true!! I was told a consult + 2 xrays is $65 but if I needed to see a hygienist it would go up to $165, which sounded to me like that would cover both as I did ask what's the maximum price I would be charged. They failed to mention that the consult and price of the hygienist were two separate payments for two separate appointments. I already knew what the problem was and told them multiple times, however, they still booked me for a "consult" which involved an x-Ray and the dentist telling me what my problem was as well as inform me he doesn't touch teeth...this took about 5-10 minutes and cost $65 on its own, only to be told what I already knew and have literally nothing done to my teeth (not even a clean). They then tried to book me for a hygienist to scrape my teeth which would then cost me $165 on top of that... I politely declined and found a different hygienist who only charges $80 and don't need a consult first. As a young working person who isn't eligible for WinZ subsidy as it is, I'm appalled with the way my situation was handled after both being lied to and then conned into paying for an unnecessary "consult". Also since when were dentists not allowed to touch teeth??? I very strongly recommend that you find somewhere cheaper because after ringing around and thinking I have found the best deal I then discovered I'd gone to the worst option on my list ._. Half a days work gone to a greedy dental facility with nothing in return. After reading reviews it looks like they've got advertisers giving them 5 star reviews to make up for their one star reviews from people in similar situations to my own!!

  Awesome dentist and always goes the extra mile. I’ve had a lot of dentists in my life and Pete is No 1 in my book. Awesome skill and expertise as well as a caring and considerate manner.

  Peter has been my dentist for years, my first visit was two root canals (this was after several years of not seeing any dentist). Now years later the root canals are still in place without any issues and I visit Peter yearly. Peter set me up with the hygienist at the Dental Centre which has proven to also be a top notch service. Thanks team.

  Would highly reccomend these guys we were made very welcome. I love how down to earth the staff were. And they treated my son with gentle compassion and care. Thankyou

  Highly recommend Sydenham Dental Centre for both dental and hygienist appointments. Peter is an outstanding dentist - whether it's for a checkup, root canal or a chipped tooth. Been going to him for many years and always been super impressed at both his skill and manner. The other staff are awesome too - always do their best to fit you in if not a routine issue and very friendly.
