  I was really disappointed in the food and the service, we received here The food really was not the best, had crumbed schnitzel, think it was just cooked in the oven, not fried, was hard and did not look like it had been cooked, 3 of us ordered this with veges instead of salad, they all came out with salad, we did get our veges but had just about finished our meals by then, ordered a garlic bread for entree, received the mains, no garlic bread, so cancelled that, very disorganised, would not recommend at all !!!!!!

  Tied DB pub with the worst service. At least they gave us our money back after waiting an hour for simple pub food.

  called in to have a beer ,asked for 2 half pts of murphys red . stupid barperson half filled 2 pt glasses------will not bother going back

  The best pub food in the World - well, certainly in Christchurch. Warm, welcoming atmosphere, good menu and great value for money (well, maybe not the desserts, but they're yummy, so push the boat out!). We discovered the Brewers six years ago on our last visit to Christchurch, and headed straight back there this time around. And we'll be back!
