::Very low rate of pay for the layer's. No wonder you have very poor quality of workmanship and customer service.

::Moved into a new build with carpet supplied and installed by the Floorstore. The quality of the install was/ is appalling. Carpet was not fitted effectively and has lifted around the majority of the walls. Tack strips seem too far away from the walls in places and most of the tacks were not bent so carpet pulled straight off and is dangerous as there are nasty spikes to stand on. Carpet was not tensioned in some areas properly so was lumpy. Carpet cut too short on areas ( e.g hallway) so if you look there are gaps beyond the carpet and the wall, loose threads; and joins came undone. Carpet lifted around the majority of door ways/ corners. Got them back and they spent time gluing carpet back down. Because the house is now full of furniture carpet couldn’t be tensioned properly. Subsequently even the ‘repaired’ areas lifted again ( e.g by ranch slider doors). For the second visit they were over an hour late and never got on touch to say what was happening so re scheduled. I have had new carpet installed in 2 other houses in and the last couple of years and by comparison the job here is far below standard. I have real concerns for the carpet longevity as predict it will fray on the joins/ around doorways over time. When the furniture is moved from the current position it’s likely the carpet is going to lift around those sides of the walls too so more time and cost to get this repaired. Steer clear at all costs.

::From the time of choosing a vinyl, (their quote was the cheapest )but the sales person hassled me with phone calls after repeating l would ring her this did not happen l ended up going with another store who where more than helpful even a bit more expensive it was worth it not to be hassled by staff this puts people of and l would not even consider using this store in the future. H

::Unfortunately we had rather a bad experiance as the doors were taken off the pantry-with fine sawdust from floor sanding through everything as no protection was taken. Also, the measurements were wrong so the replacement vinyl was not completed in time for our toilets to be re-installed that day, meaning an unplanned night away from home. The carpet feels lovely to walk in but it tracks very badly, which is very disappointing and this took an extra day to complete
