Beautiful location. Lovely choice of food. The staff were impeccably attentive and friendly. Situated alongside the historical stone store next to the old smithys shop. A must visit whilst in Kerikeri for morning tea , lunch or dinner. Perfect for hireage also for functions.

Great location by the river. Nice garden. Service could be better.

Beautiful location and restaurant interior but let down by poor service and mediocre food with unjustified prices. I'd been here before years earlier and really liked it. This time felt like a completely different place. The menu was limited and fairly basic. Even so, the server did not seem to know it in detail. Service was friendly but slow and the server kept leaving partway through to deal with other customers. Our meals came out at very different times (maybe 10-15 minutes apart) so the first were long cold before the last arrived. I would not visit again.

Fine dining in a low key family friendly environment. The meals from the dinner menu were top rate in preparation, presentation and flavour. Not cheap, but I think reasonable for the quality. Beautiful views with outdoor seating. Adjacent to the historic Stone Store.

Very picturesque, and the only restaurant in the area facing the Kerikeri river basin. Also the host of the oldest fruit tree in New Zealand - their claim - hence, the name. Their car park is vast though you can only park there only while you're having your food. Their staff was friendly, though the service quality was just average. The menu is a bit confusing: too fluff for a café, but too simple for a restaurant. The food quality is definitely not at restaurant level. Their wine list is very long, which makes me wonder whether this is a place to eat or a place to get drunk.
