The garage was to small to park your car in,the pillows an blanket on the bed were totally disgusting they should be thrown out with everything else, the feel of the whole place just didnt feel clean, when travelling I always take my own blanket an pillow glad I had them when staying there, for $210 it wasnt worth it, I would'nt go there again even if I was desperate, I would rate this place a 0..

regarding the manager - haven't had the chance to even stay at this place and i already feel that this is the worst place for me to ever visit ! i have stayed at multiple motels/hotels/apartments in NZ and always receive 100% customer service. apparently there was a deposit to be made which didn't show in the website booking.. also my card declined which she didn't say in the phone call all she said was "you haven't made your deposit". when i asked her to repeat herself cause i couldn't hear her she raised her voice and gave me a rotten attitude. So one i didn't know what she was talking about, two she gave horrible customer service as if she was insulting me over the phone and three she ended the call by saying "your very rude for cancelling without letting us know" so i recommend for anyone to stay ANYWHERE else in Tauranga !! to add to that she tried requesting money out of my card without me authorizing before hand and then got mad when it declined so in that case i was extremely lucky due to buying a new card.

Wouldn't stay here again only because of management. The apartment was clean and tidy and close to the beach but management need to work on their hospitality skills. .....very rude & grumpy not welcoming at all !!!!!!

Spacious, clean, well kept and modern apartments. Will definitely stay here again! Not much of an ocean view, but there is beach access right across the road.

This review was extremely difficult to write. After reading some absolutely horrific reviews about these accommodations I was a little worried about staying here. However, after staying I thought it best to try and set things in a more realistic review. Trish and Maury are an older couple who manage the complex and they are very kind, generous, and friendly. After a heavy storm they let us stay in a 'renovation in progress' suite for free while we waited for the roads to be cleared - which was extremely generous. As we learned, each one of the Villas are owned by independent owners and are kept as rental properties for short-term stay. Trish and Maury do the best they can with the small funds that are pooled for upkeep etc, however not all the owners are as interested in the general maintenance of others. Hence, why some Villas are less up-to-date than others. Having said that, when we arrived there was a very large amount of work being put into the upkeep of the units and ours was very pleasant indeed. For the price, you get a private car garage, a 3 storey Villa, a full kitchen, a balcony, full bathroom and the list goes on. If you have a group of people, this is an absolute bargain given its location. It was pleasant, warm, updated, and the furniture and bedding was clean and comfortable. No complaints there. The only reason I wouldn't give this accommodation 5 stars: 1. You get 50 channels on TV, but no FREE WIFI. In the modern world, this is a big drawback to staying here. If anything, cut back some of the channels and at least offer 1GB per unit-per day. Even just that small amount is enough to write a few e-mails and get a few things done. 2. I know that it's not a FULL-Hotel situation, but I think that someone should be in the office at All Times during office hours. Maybe even a Volunteer, working for accomodation. I won't go into detail, but there should be office hours, and someone should be there from 9-6 daily. We ran into troubles both for check-in and the arrival of some mail. We enjoyed our stay here, and would stay again!
