  My review is very similar to the last one. It was a unique and cozy setting, delicious food, and a rude and unprofessional owner. To spend 200 dollars on dinner and still be treated like you don’t exist is inexcusable. With every interaction the owner was snippy and short with us, while showing kindness and attentiveness to other patrons. I’m not sure what criteria he uses to decide who is deserving or not, but as the owner of a restaurant you cannot act like that. I even found a fruit sticker in my food and thought to myself how useless it would be to bring it up. My partner and I decided we would give him the benefit of the doubt, however, and mention it to our waitress, but yet again were disappointed when he failed to address the issue.

  While the food was quite creative and good, our experience with the service was not consistent with other reviewers. The staff, consisting of one waitress and the owner Pedro, seemed preoccupied with other customers, and ignored us for long stretches of time. We did not find Pedro attentive or hospitable; quite the contrary. At times he seemed rude and unfriendly. It really marred what could have been an otherwise pleasant experience.

  Our meal was perfect. We ordered ribeye and the portion was super and meat was perfectly done. Very recommend.

  Can't speak highly enough of this place. Rustic charm at its finest. Really great for kids and adults alike. Food was fantastic, small but varied menu, great wine list, good range of beers and excellent whiskey list. Open fire and cozy environment. Just what you want in the snow!
