::Excellent after being ripped off by another company. So was very pleased with service. Asked for an upgrade and spoke to a very helpful young guy in Christchurch. Got to Wellington airport and there was absolutely no problem for a up grade. Thanku thrifty. Hope I don't get any hidden costs deducted from my credit card.

::Worst experience in NewZealand !!!! As a traveler I faced lot of issues with these guys but I found Ezi car Rental and Go rentals much more genuine and friendly.. Guys Visiting NewZealand pls don’t rent car from them 🙏 These guys will Charge you unnecessarily more .. please avoid this operator .. Wish google had given an option of zero stars

::Remarkably they were able to add 30 litres of fuel to a vehicle that was three quarters full. I pleasantly asked them to check and got a narky reply. Clearly they know you have no recourse, save a bad review. Sorry to the great Thrifty team in Auckland.
