  I don't have a heap of time to train so getting the most out of what I'm doing is really important. Jianni and the team are helping me train smarter and I'm seeing some good results.

  Last week I had booked in for an FTP test @8 am with Jianni at VBike. I was very excited to come and do it as I had never done an FTP test before. However on arrival @8 am I was put off another 30 mins as Jianni was doing his workout even though the appointment was for 8 am. Once I had finally gotten on the bike I was given a very minimal amount of information as to what was going on during the 20 minute warm up. During the warm up process I needed to ask a few questions, my father had to go and find Jianni about 4 times to ask him as he was not anywhere to be seen. Whilst I was doing my FTP test I was again given a very minimal amount of information as to how to I should hit it. After I had completed my test and whilst I was warming down Jianni had not a single nice word to say about me or my form and in fact told me in front of my father not to quit my day job, and that there is no future in cycling for me. I am a 23 year old elite level road cyclist based in Brisbane who is looking to take up cycling as a potential career. Overall I thought VBike is a nice indoor environment for training however the service from Jianni was indeed very unprofessional and unsatisfactory, also after leaving I had realised my rear tyre was quite flat which would have affected my output during the test.
