::We were here in our motorhome on Anzac Day and we enjoyed our stay here. The park has cool amenities which our toddler loved and a stunning view of the ocean. We also loved the hot showers that were available, there are plenty of shower stalls available, unlike other holiday parks, which was great! The management was also friendly and lenient when we checked out at 10:30am instead of the standard 10am limit. Would definitely stay here if we visit Gisborne in the future.

::Look. This is a bare minimum to a decent night's sleep. In your room, you'll find a couple of mugs and the smallest shelf space to prepare for your next day. Need a spoon? Have this plastic one that explodes into a million splinters when you use it. We don't believe in metal spoons here. Single use disposables please! Got any kids? No? Well you're likely to adopt them by the end of your stay. Just when you thought you could get away from all the children playing, the couple's cabins back onto a road which services the major port of the town..so you guessed it. Trucks.

::Do you enjoy sleeping on a road? Well here's the next best thing! Nothing but a thin tin fence between you and a real live road! OK so apart from the road the place is pretty good, and it's probably only going to affect you if you're in a tent. But if you're backpacking do yourself a favour and book into a hostel. There will probably be a more chill atmosphere and actual beds for the same price or less. Amazing for families I'm sure.
