  Quite strategically located & value for money. You can find all the basic necessities there including microwave, washing machine & stove which is a plus. However, the bathroom is a turn-down as there was no shower gel and shampoo provided. I couldn't even find a single piece of complimentary soap. It was Easter weekend and shops were closed, it was quite a bummer. I wouldn't recommend this as a cosy and comfortable stay, but if you want something just basic at low cost, this is probably your pick.

  I have been living here since 2009. I love the views, day by day and night by night You can't go wrong with that

  Stayed here for a couple of nights when needing somewhere central. It was really close to CBD, only 5 mins to queen street or britomart. Great amenities to do washing or cooking and really good value. Reception was helpful too when we needed it.

  The service from the staff member who checked us in was abrupt and rude. The room had a very strong smell of cleaning products that was incredibly overwhelming! So much so that we had to have the doors and windows open because it was suffocating. The apartment was not serviced once in the three days that we were there. The noise from the construction site directly next door was so loud and woke us up at 5 am on a Saturday morning - If we had known that there was an active construction site next door that worked on a Saturday, we may have considered booking a different motel. We also had obnoxiously loud neighbors on Sunday morning - their incredibly loud conversations were hilarious though so it wasn't the worst way to wake up.

  On the good side, the room was clean and comfortable. But considering the following issues, I wouldn't book it again. Wifi connection was terrible, basically unusable most of the time. The A/C barely worked; manager was helpful in providing directions but it still didn't work well. Lots of noise one night in the hallways woke us up around midnight (yelling, etc.). The power went out one night as well. We also smelled cigarette smoke a few times--it seemed to be coming from inside the building, not out on a balcony or somewhere else outside (guests are allowed to smoke on the balconies but nowhere else). Too many things added up to not wanting to give this place another chance.
