  Had a wonderful stay in this clean and modern motel, and would ONLY stay here next time in Wanaka! We needed a kitchenette as we were mountain biking and had hungry adults in our party - so fantastic to use a well equipped kitchen to help save money! I appreciated the washer and dryer too!! Cheery helpful staff, AMAZING views right across the street, and great location for walking to pubs and walking home!

  Excellent location! The hotel is right across a small park that is right in front of the lake. It is also very close to the town center with many restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. The hotel offers private parking, laundry facility, free use of bikes, and free camping chairs. We booked a one bedroom with separate bathroom and living/dining/kitchen room with the views of the lake. The room was modern and very clean. The kitchen had everything you will need to make a meal. We visited in November, so it was pretty warm, but there are heaters and electric blankets set up under the sheets for the colder months. The hotel is very close to the Roys Peak trailhead, and Rob Roy Glacier trail is only one hour away. It is also very close to Queenstown, so we decided to stay in Wanaka and just go for a day trip to Queenstown and Arrowtown. Cardrona ski resort is on the way to Queenstown and is relatively close to the hotel as well, so that may be an option if we ever come back during ski season. The owner of the motel is super friendly and is happy to answer any questions you may have. She provided a map of the town and pointed out all local attractions.

  Right next to the town yet overlooking a huge grass field and the lake. Private spacious rooms in a small motel - and lovely people. Recommend!
