  The forest is beautiful, lots of filmy ferns and kidney ferns. However up on the top very muddy. More mud sections than track sections. Over the ankle mud going across full track width and for meters long. Definitely bring tramping boots and be prepared for wet feet.

  Great track with heaps of amazing trees. Saw some jet black fungi that I've never seen anywhere else.
