  My daughter aged 20 years old, arrived in this car park on Sat 17th Feb after a long 8 hour drive from Auckland. She parked her car and paid for her ticket. On return to the car park the next day Sun morning 6.30 am she found her car had been moved to a different car space. She located the man in charge who explained there was a market held in the car park every Sun, My daughter said she did not see any sign that notified her of that when she parked the car the previous evening. The man in charge said she could not take her car until she paid him $90 cash. She explained she had a ferry to catch in 15 mins and did not have $90 cash to give him. He then proceeded to remove her luggage from her vehicle, When she tried to put the luggage back in the car he grabbed her arm refusing to allow her to do so unless she paid him. she offered to transfer the money in to Wilson's company account however he said he did not have the account details. The women with him said "My son works for this man if you put the money into my account you can go on your way" Distressed over the likely event of missing the ferry and being stranded in Wellington ,she transferred the money into the women's account, and only then was she allowed to leave the car park. Wilson's have said this has nothing to do with their company, I can only assume the man and women involved are connected to the Victoria Farmers Market.. I intend on following this matter up with the Police! This is assault! THIS IS NOT OK!!! ... Women who use this car park on a Sunday while the market - BEWARE! Don;t be taken advantage of like my daughter,

  Usually has spaces free, but can be hard to find, rough ground, and the walking path is in the same space that the cars drive in.
