::The location of the hostel is excellent and easy to spot. We were booked for a private room with shared bathroom and kitchenette. Room was clean and basic. But the shared bathroom was a lil too small, I had to go to my room to dress myself after my bathe. Otherwise, it's a pretty good stay.

::My girlfriend dosnt usually stay at backpackers but we both agreed on the below. Stayed in private room. Was like luxury. Kitchen had microwave, kettle, toaster and all tableware. Very spacious. Super friendly staff. Laundry facilities fantastic. Hired bikes from the hostel for cheaper than in town! And the best thing was the location. Right in the middle of town with views, of the lake from reception and common areas. Super relaxed vibes. Would recommend.

::This is a great Hostel with very kind personal! Little bit expensive (33$ a night for 6 bed room) but it is okay. It's a bit older but everything is in good condition and very clean! They have an pool table were you can play for free. I enjoyed my stay!

::We had a great stay here for one week in winter. The fires are kept lit, the TV room has a projector to watch movies on, there's a free pool table and a massive kitchen. They also have a storage room for skis etc. Some parking out front too. Best place to stay at this price in wanaka.

::Really great hostel to stay in around the Wanaka area. We were placed in a room (shared with about 6 people) and the room had a mini kitchen (hot water, cups, sink) and a bathroom. Really nice to have a bathroom for the room as it makes things so much more convenient. The lounge area was really great as well. It had a pool table, chairs, tables and sofas and a artificial fireplace, making it a really nice cozy area. Kitchen was fantastic too - it had all the cooking utensils you needed and they were clean too. Nearby there's some food and a supermarket as well.
