  What a fabulous location! Parking is easy, safe and unloading is on the level. Every part of this facility is scrupulously clean. A lot of effort has gone into making bedtime special; from the linen to the clouds, drifting off to sleep to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore is truly relaxing. Hosts that cannot do enough for you complete the picture.

  Super nice hosts and great location. Free kayaks and stand up paddleboard for use and only minutes to vet to tutukaka harbour. Perfect place for stay in the summer and for going on a Poor Knights Island for diving or snorkelling.

  Had a fantastic time at 36 Steps, what a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. Hosts are lovely, place is organized, clean & view is stunning. Definitely would come back again. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

  Wendy offers a very 'welcome to my home' feeling in the quaint and charming units at 36 Steps to the Beach. Our unit was clean and affordable. It is only a 20 minute walk to Tutukaka by road, or 10 minutes along the beach (low tide), so very close to eateries and the marina.
