::I contacted 4 Seasons in Tauranga in December last year to inform them of a defect with our fire place that was installed 7 months prior. We have a rotating flume on our chimney, to allow this flume to rotate smoothly it has a plastic bush. This bush has perished and now there is metal on metal so any time there is even a breath of wind our chimney makes a sound I compare to finger nails down a chalkboard. I was told a during this phone call a warranty clam would be entered and to wait for contact. 9th of Feb, after I call again only to find out no warranty clam has been entered I am asked for "Proof" via email. I shouldn't need proof. I send 4 Seasons in Tauranga photo's as requested and told to they would get back to us with a result. 29th of March my wife contacts 4 Seasons in Tauranga again and was informed that the part we required had not even left the manufacturer. I am told by 4 Seasons that once this part arrives I can climb up on the roof again and fix it myself. Which is never going to happen. Part arrived and again I am told that its an easy fix. And I am told that its all going to get sorted after I again refuse to carry out the repair myself. Why should I, such a cop out even asking that. Called last week was told that they we're going to make a call, call me back and let me know when its going to be fixed. No call. Called today was told that they we're going to make a call and let me know when its going to be fixed. No call. During this call I informed them that I have had enough and at my wits end. I have been more than patient, and reasonable. I have never raised my voice or been abusive to any of your staff. I get the same response every time I call but never a result. So while I sit here listening to this horrible noise nearly 5 months after I first informed your staff of this I wonder what do I have to do to get this sorted. So after today no gift voucher is going to make up for all the lost hours of sleep or frustration my wife and I have endured because your staff seem to not give a toss.
