  great place worth visiting. Just a pitty that it is not in Auckland when we arrived - it would be great introduction to NZ tour. A lot to see dont miss anything and dont rush.

  I can not be in Wellington without visiting this world class museum. There is always an ongoing exhibition and one doesn't need deep pockets to enjoy this place. There are places where you can charge your phone batteries. The staff is very helpful and one can pick up really nicely designed brochures you can add to your travel journal. Set aside one day just for this.

  Heel mooi uitgebreid museum over alles wat nieuw zeeland te bieden heeft. Altijd een nieuwe tentoonstelling!

  Great museum! You'd expect a museum of this grandeur to charge an entry fee but it's completely free!. Staff are very friendly and the exhibitions are remarkably well done.

  A must visit place in Wellington. If you are interested to learn NZ culture don't miss this place. A very well maintained place with friendly staff. I have been here few times and the place never tire me!! The best thing is, it is free...no entry fee and contribution is voluntary.
