::One of our favorite B&B experiences during our North Island vacation! The house/rooms were very comfortable, and Helen & John were so charming (even their cat Bert was friendly). They made us a delicious breakfast with an amazing spread of homemade/local jams & honey, generously made time to sit and chat with us and make us feel so welcomed in their home. Unbeatable location for Waitomo cave experiences too!

::My husband and I stayed at Abseil Inn for 1 night during our honeymoon. Location is a 5/5 as it is close to the caves and the best dining options in Rotorua. The house is located on top of a big hill so you get privacy as well as beautiful views. The hosts, Helen & John are a 11/10!! Helen and John are absolutely unforgettable. They offer their hilarious sense of humour, incredible hospitality, awesome cooking skills and professionalism as well. Abseil Inn offers cute little rooms all with their own bathroom and decorated in individual themes. The property also has large communal spaces to eat, chat, play games and relax. If you are looking for a hotel vibe then this is not the place for you. Only book this accomodation if you appreciate the nature of a bed and breakfast. You will get a unique and incredible experience but you will hear other guests, your rooms will be the size of a normal bedroom in a house and you will eat breakfast communally with the other guests in the morning. It is all part of the fun!! We will visit Helen and John and their beautiful home every time we are in NZ from here onwards. Thankyou again for an awesome stay!
