::I'm with Linda - zero stars is what they deserve but Google doesn't allow that. Seven years of hell and incompetence after the Canterbury earthquakes and now they have begun bullying tactics. With the exception of one person in Auckland who has been helpful their staff seem to be incompetent and recently bullies. Their complaints process was a joke as they only spoke to the loss adjuster who we were complaining about. Recently, after 7 years of mucking around, they suddenly decided they'd like to cash settle. The threw together numbers in 2 days, deliberately and knowingly excluded work from the numbers and then we eventually agreed in the interest of having them out of our lives they refused because we added criteria that they pay within 10 days and complete the work they are still responsible. That work consisted of rebuilding a single garage - a 2 month project which is now 6 months after the scheduled completion date. Payments have taken anywhere from 1 month to 4 months and have created bad will with everyone involved. Any insurance company would have to be better than Allianz!

::I wouldn't even give them a star rating except I had to to post this . This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with Insurance. It was drawn out and stressful , every 10 days they came back with a question to delay the outcome. I paid good money for insurance and would not have claimed unless it was legit. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

::Used for travel insurance. Were difficult to deal with. Repetitively asked for increasingly difficult to attain information. Dragged out sharing of information with 10 working day reply times. Did eventually pay out nearly 6 months after the event. I will avoid in future.
