  I stayed here about 2 years ago and it was so memorable that decided to look it up and leave the review I should have years ago. The space was run by a kind older woman and gentleman who tended to me, a Canadian backpacker, with an almost loving sort of attention and care. Our conversations were brief but entirely charming and welcoming. The room was beautiful in character, with comfy cushions, warm knit blankets and was just like staying at a grandmothers house. I slept like a log. While the decor was dated it was genuine. It is a small oasis in these days of commercial hostels and worth a visit. I hope the owner is doing well in health, and I wish anyone who reads this review a good rest at this lovely hostel. Thanks!

  I stayed here on an overnight business trip, it is quite dated, but I slept well and had a fantastic breakfast spread here.
