  Partner & I parked outside the small bottle store. Spent 20mins deciding on what to buy, ended up getting some LOCAL craft beer & LOCAL wine based on the recommendations of one of the sales assistants. We went for lunch up the road & came back to our car less than 60mins later only to find a rude note stuck on our windscreen from the bottle store manager. Despite NO time limits displayed anywhere on the shop's parking sign, the note was complaining about how long we'd parked outside their store for, apparently inhibiting access for other 'potential' customers. Yeah right. Not sure how many other out-of-town customers would appreciate such a rude response from the store manager. We spent time & money in this wine & beer store, justifying (according to all visible signage) our park outside their shop. Somehow I think the wine & beer we bought from here won't be going down so smoothly. Will never stop here again.

  A goldmine of craft beer! I popped into this store whilst my wife was exploring the shops of Arrowtown expecting there to be a limited range and a tourist price tag.To my surprise I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member and an impressive range of NZ craft beer. Excellent bottled range and 14 taps for growler/squealer takeaways for around $10-$14 per litre. I was invited to taste the beers on tap which was greatly appreciated. Beers from breweries including EPIC, 8 Wired, Garage Project, Behemoth, Parrotdog, Tuatara, Liberty, Deep Creek, Hop Federation, Sprig & Fern and Renaissance to name a few.The shop was visited by several loyal locals whilst I was there which speaks volumes for a store in such a touristy location. A must visit for any craft beer fan!
