  Love going there. Has almost all of those " I need a " bits nd pieces. Prices are very competitive and staff are lovely to talk too and very helpful.

  I love Arthur's Emporium - it's a Whangarei institution that's been around for a long as I can remember, and as a local business, owned and run by local people, it deserves to be supported over the likes of The Warehouse and Kmart. As an avid crafter I come here when I'm after something specific (and more often than not I will find it), and I come when I'm just looking for inspiration. I could happily spend hours browsing, and I love that everything is so affordable. I'm always impressed that the cashiers just add up purchases in their head rather than scanning or using a calculator!

  This big shop is like Bunnings, Kmart and your grandpa's garage rolled into one, with a very cool shark mural outside! From duct tape to nail polish to walking sticks with a built in light - this is where the locals send you when you wonder where you can find a particular item at an affordable price: "Arthur's will have it!" And the service is lovely too!

  Come scrummage for a bargain in this warehouse. So much stuff to look at. Well stocked and well presented with a huge range of goodies from party and kids supplies, material for dresses and curtains, hunting knives, mechanical bits and pieces. All sorts to keep everyone entertained!
