  Accompanied my mum to open an account there. Arrogant and Rude personal banker who did not know what she was doing.

  Good range of atms, but staff is not competent. Reccomend to go to other branch , which is not in the mall.

  I told them that I wasn't going to use my account for a year but when I wanted to use it again after a year they told me that I had to pay. They decided to take some money out of my account, I am not happy about this 👿

  Was served by danny, very helpful east asian guy. Manager, eh, not so much, and a tad snide, but still followed through on doing his part, albeit only after i pointed out that you CAN and ASB bank WILL draft a foreign currency cheque for you if you are not a member of asb bank and you can pay by cash (most likely initially they will tell you that no, that they can't, which is i was told on the phone by customer service, until i asked her if she could verify what it said on the ASB website which is that ANYONE can walk in and pay by cash for a foreign currency cheque, and after checking she said that yes i indeed could do what i asked if i could do [lucky i did because when the teller asb sylvia park didn't know and had to ask his indian manager, this manager said "no" and i immediately corrected him in a thoughtful and considerate way]) so i ended up getting my cheque(which they had to go to the vault for, i had to provide the person it was to be made out to, and also my ID, and of course i paid in cash, and it was quite a large amount, though not over $1000.

  Went to this branch to setup an asb bank account. I spoke with Harry , he was so awesome and efficient with the process. He answered all the enquiring I had and even explained how different bank accounts worked. Top man ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
