  The team at Auckland allergy clinic have been marvelous from the moment I went in to visit them. They have really worked to discover what has worked best for my allergies and I feel I am in very capable hands. The 1 star review is totally NOT at all my experience - the team have sought to make me feel accommodated, kept every appointment and even text me the day before as a friendly reminder - couldn't really ask for more. I'd have no trouble in recommending them to others.

  My son went there a few years ago. Very expensive - care felt random and doctors sometimes appeared clueless - I'm not saying they were, but maybe inexperienced with allergies . The main doctor was ok but the appointment system was at times incompetent and we only saw him once, he is apparently very well thought of within the profession. Appointments got cancelled by the clinic on a fairly regular basis -we had a long drive through heavy traffic to get there for injections on a weekly/fortnightly basis after school. I think we spent around $4000 on immunotherapy with no end in sight! In the end we stopped going - my child was no better. Maybe just our experience but we felt ripped off. There was no follow up or phone calls to determine what my child's outcome was or why we stopped going. Each injection takes 5 mins and was very expensive and your child has to have them sometimes years. Maybe this is effective for some sufferers and it's always worth a try. We will do anything for our children. But my issue was we just felt ripped off and it seemed like a money making concern without any real outcome.
