  Fantastic food! I also like being treated a little bit like dirt. No absequious bowing and scraping here! It makes you feel like you're interacting with someone on your level, maybe a little bit above you. After all, this person manages a busy popular restaurant...what have you done with your life? If not for the food you received you'd probably starve to death. Paying is the least you can do.

  This place is very heartwarming, the light yellow walls are bright and comforting, and the food and environment are a great mix of modern and traditional. The food they serve is completely compassionate and they are a very well loved restaurant in Wellington shown partly by all the lovely postcards letters and drawings on their walls. There is a huge selection of food, so many choices and it is cooked before you with honesty, focus, and friendliness in the kitchen area which is part of the dining area. It is nice to walk in and be greeted warmly by the people who cook and serve the food because these areas are combined. They are very humble and kind people and the food and drinks are always nurturing and perfectly tummy filling, hot, and healthy. Thank you Aunty Mena Wellington is so lucky to have you. We love and appreciate you.

  So amazing! This is the best of any type of Asian food I’ve had in New Zealand for sure. The steam buns and potato curry were perfect. The service was fast and really friendly. Great location on Cuba st! :)

  Yummy vegan and vegetarian options. Food was served quick and hot. Staff was friendly despite me showing up 15 minutes before closing time. Great value for your money. I would go again.

  Consistently delicious food. Great portion sizes for the price point too. Only thing is service can be a little hit and miss. They are always super polite however if they are busy they can sometimes seat you and then forget about you. It’s still a great lunch time spot and I always leave feeling full and happy.
