::It was nice that they offered me a free coffee next time I visit after forgetting my order. To be honest I only go because my mates do. A decent coffee is pretty hit and miss.

::Hot chocolate was not very warm and took a long time. Used to be better service.

::Intimate casual atmosphere in the heart of Newtown. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Good drinks selection and separate bar. Food was a mix of regular cafe fare and reasonable selection of small tapas plates. Enough choice for most tastes and reasonably cooked.

::The quality of service and food at many restaurants can vary depending on who's serving & cooking the time you come in. I'm gluten free vegetarian so finding a decent place that caters to my medical gastro restrictions without staff impatiently frowning or rolling their eyes at you can be hard at times. I didn't have that problem w/ this cafe. The staff were nice, friendly & helpful. They made recommendations based on what I told them I can & cannot eat. The portion size was decent & the taste of the food was good & it was fairly priced.

::The café food turned out to be less than reasonable. Hygiene needs to looked into. I had a simple bowl of wedges that were presented nicely but were nothing more than old chewy re-blanched and nuked potatoes for $7.00. Pet and birds joined the "kitchen" Loved the courtyard, detested the food and hygiene. Told the coffee was burnt and way hot.
