  I have been shopping at Beggs for 40 years now . The service from the knowledgeable staff has always been first class and the merchandise up to date and of high quality . Over the last few years the range of clothing has expanded , giving more and more choice. The mail order department is fast and efficient , so it doesn't matter that I live in the South Island

  I had forgotten about Beggs big and tall. I remember them forever. Great to see that an 85 year old specialist business is still in the heart of town and looking really sharp too. The store has a long and wide street presence - clever marketing? If I see a really tall/big chap I now know where to send him if he gets a hole in his pants.
